Grandmaster Bernardo Fabia Salinas is the successor of his family system. He has been teaching the system of Sinkatan Arnis, a true living treasure of the Philippine martial art, and other martial arts for more than thirty years, Grandmaster Salinas has conducted seminars in combative art of Sinkatan Arnis throughout Canada Philippines and United States. He passed his knowledge on to students and practitioners throughout the world. In the past, Grandmaster Salinas has instructed RCMP law enforcement, Auxiliary forces and Security in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada and PNP Philippine National Police and local Barangay law enforcement in the town of Binalonan province of Pangasinan, Philippines. His expertise includes training in the Philippines, Japan, and Canada in a variety of martial arts. Grandmaster Bernardo Salinas is a fourth time honoree in the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame. On the year of 2002 he was inducted into the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society Hall of Fame and was awarded the Grandmaster of the Year He also founded the Northern Tiger Shotokan Karate Association, Sinkatan Arnis International and the SFMA International, recognized by the International Assembly of Sokeship Founders and Headmasters New York USA.

The SFMA MARTIAL ARTS provides instruction in traditional Filipino Martial Art in weaponry (Arnis) and the art of Sinkatan Lima-Limaan an empty hand technique of self-defense, Filipino Boksing, and traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate. Grandmaster Bernardo Fabia Salinas associated SFMA to Martial Arts Training Society Philippines, in connection to SFMA-Intl, founded in December 2003 in honor of his family and mentor, recognize by the IASFH (International Assembly of Sokeship Founders and Headmasters) New York, USA.
NORTHERN TIGER SHOTOKAN KARATE ASSOCIATION In September 1999 Grandmaster Bernardo Salinas founded the NTSKA (Northern Tiger Shotokan Karate Association) a non-profit organization that he introduced to dedicated parents to pursue concerning of the following Goals of the Association: * Established Scholarship Program for the students * Encourage students to excel in every aspect of their education and training in martial arts. * Reward students that show dedication to their studies in school, and in martial arts. * Assist students to further they’re training and experience in martial arts. * Offer the opportunity to obtain the self-defense and discipline those martial arts can offer. * Promote the martial arts for non-resistance or non-violence in accordance with highest ideal of the art, and emphasize the fundamental values of martial arts to learn respect and discipline
